Quilt in progress - Quilt em curso

This will be my first quilt.

I wanted to do something special,

buying special fabric to it and using

a simple "no-risk" pattern.

 

After falling in love with the collection

"Lucy's Crab Shack", from Moda Fabrics,

choosing the colors was the hard task

(part of the collection can be seen in this shop).

Este vai ser o meu primeiro quilt.

Eu queria fazer fazer uma mantinha mesmo

especial, comprar tecidos especialmente para

a ocasião e usar um esquema simples, "sem riscos".

Primeiro, apaixonei-me pela colecção "Lucy's Crab Shack",

da Moda Fabrics (alguns dos tecidos podem ser vistos nesta loja).

The main colors are orange and green.

But I found it too light, and then I added some

stronger colors.

 

As cores principais são laranja e verde.

Mas achei que estava a ficar muito monótono

e acrescentei umas cores mais fortes.

I'm not sure of how it will turn.

The fantastic thing is that every piece of color

makes a difference, so only after making

all the binding I can see what I did.

 

Não tenho a certeza de como vai ficar.

O mais fantástico é que cada bocadinho de cor

faz toda a diferença, por isso só depois

do binding final consigo ver o que fiz.
